What i did for DOSH
The user experience was designed around the founder's vision of a "frictionless experience."
What does that mean? A frictionless experience? It means that at the moment a person swipes their card at the cash register. Their cashback is already in their wallet and a push notification appeared on their device letting them know it worked.
When a user added a card to Dosh it was automatically stored and awaiting the transactional signal to give the user a reward. When we saw a transaction match between a merchant that was on our platform and a purchase (via the card-linked payment rails of Visa, Mastercard and Amex) we delivered a seamless delightful moment of cash into a digital wallet. That cash could be transferred to their bank account, Venmo or PayPal. Users could also donate the money if they desired to do so.
It really was a whole vibe.
Having a "why"
Part of the culture at Dosh was that every week the founder would throw a Life Saver to someone and they would share their โwhyโ they work at Dosh. It connected everything together - the mission, the values and every individualโs reason for showing up to work every day. We captured the โwhysโ and displayed them proudly in the foyer of our office.
Remembering who we serve
